Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's children was born in Woodland Hills, California in 1956. Her father taught school and her mom was a homemaker. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. Beginning at a very early age, McCormick loved to sing and dance, and she would frequently perform puppet shows for youngsters in the area. When she was just six, McCormick was crowned her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her and asked if the actress would be looking to pursue a career in showbusiness. McCormick was offered her first gig as a leading actress in 1964. She was featured in an ad campaign for Mattels' newest doll Baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was soon cast in the play the play Wind It up until It Breaks in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won the 1969 audition of more than 1200 children to become one of the oldest twins on The Brady Bunch TV show The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed together with Robert Reed. It lasted five years. McCormick disclosed the story Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity in the hands of Barry Williams during the five-year period in the series. The actress was just 16 years old, and the actor aged 19 at that time. She said that it would be possible, however we never had the right moment to make the decision.
